The project:
Keeping track of your camera settings is one of the best ways to learn and understand what you’ve done right or wrong while shooting. It is a very easy process in the digital world but not as straight forward with analogue cameras. Using small notebooks has been the solution for many analogue shooters but it can be challenging and time-consuming. ‘Analogue field’ proposes a simple solution to log your kit details and shooting data on an app so you can keep track of everything. Moreover it allows recording the GPS coordinates, date and time of the day you took the picture, weather data and other factors that might impact the quality of a picture.
The whole aesthetic of the App is inspired by retro enamel pins and sew on patches design, characterised by the use of thick black lines to divide colours.
