The client
Studioball is a London based design research practice ran buy Ralph Ball and Maxine Naylor. Their works have been exhibited in Milan, Paris, Shanghai, and New York and have been compiled in the book “Form Follows Idea: An introduction to design poetics” published by Black Dog Publishing.
The project
The website is a gallery of projects realised by Studioball, it is a white wall displaying one coloured image at a time and allowing the user to go through the studio archives.
The front page is a randomly picked project as you would stumble upon when opening an archival flat drawer cabinet.
Developed on WordPress CMS the back end was modified to provide a clearer and easier way to add a project. This development was informed by constant concertation with the final user to make sure the process was straightforward and left no place for error.
